Discussion of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works’ Emergency Plan
A meeting held today in Sana’a, chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani, discussed the emergency plan for the ministry and its affiliated entities.
The meeting, which included the Undersecretary of the Public Works Sector, Engineer Ali Rajih, the Chairman of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, and leaders from the Public Works Offices in the Capital Secretariat and Sana’a Governorate, addressed the roles and responsibilities of each entity and institution in implementing the emergency plan.
Al-Sayani emphasized the importance of raising preparedness levels and redoubling efforts to accomplish various tasks and provide services to citizens, especially given the current circumstances in the country.
He stressed the necessity of ensuring that the ministry’s and its affiliated institutions’ equipment and machinery are fully prepared to carry out any tasks or interventions, particularly during emergencies.
The Deputy Minister urged the leadership of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, the Road Maintenance Fund, the Public Works Offices, and other entities affiliated with the ministry to assume their responsibilities in implementing the plan.
