Handover and Inauguration of the Model Qat Tax Collection Center in Yaslah, Sana’a

 

The General Authority for Roads and Bridges handed over the model qat tax collection center in the Yaslah area of ​​Sana’a Governorate to the Tax and Customs Authority today.

The handover follows the completion of the center’s construction by the General Authority for Roads and Bridges at a cost of 174,532,000 Yemeni riyals, funded by the Qat Sales Tax Executive Unit and supervised by the Tax and Customs Authority.

During the handover and inauguration, Dr. Ibrahim Mahdi, Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, and Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, inspected the center, which consists of two buildings housing six offices, a control room, three individual weighing rooms, and other service facilities.

The Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority commended the efforts of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges in completing the project according to the required engineering specifications and within the specified timeframe. He noted that the project comes within the framework of the Ministry of Finance and the Tax and Customs Authority’s commitment to establishing the necessary infrastructure and institutions to ensure improved overall performance within the Authority and its affiliated entities.

Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami emphasized the General Authority for Roads and Bridges’ commitment to implementing infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and service facilities, according to the highest quality standards.

The handover and inauguration ceremony was attended by Assistant Undersecretary of the Tax Authority, Fahd Dahmash; Director of the Qat Sales Tax Executive Unit, Abdulrahman Al-Kahlani; Director of the Executive Unit’s Branch – Second Region, Mohammed Al-Kabsi; Director of Projects at the Roads Authority, Engineer Sadiq Al-Jarbaani; and Deputy Director of Bridges and Construction, Engineer Ahmed Al-Mawari.
