Bader, Al-Sayani, and Al-Madani Launch Food Basket Distribution and Support for Charity Kitchens in Azal District

 

Deputy Ministers of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Adel Bader, and Transport and Public Works, Yahya Al-Sayani, along with the First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, Khaled Al-Madani, launched the Al-Ihsan Project in Azal District today by distributing food baskets and supporting charity kitchens.

The project, funded by the Ministries of Transport and Public Works, and Electricity, Energy, and Water, at a cost of 50 million riyals, includes the distribution of 1,000 food baskets and in-kind support for 16 charity kitchens. This initiative reflects the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, to strengthen social solidarity and provide assistance to poor and needy families.

During the inauguration, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Electricity, Engineer Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil, the Chairman of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, the Director of the district, Mohammed Al-Ghulaisi, and the district’s mobilization officer, Abdullah Al-Bahiri, the Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water emphasized the importance of the charity project launched today in the district as part of the charitable projects being implemented in the districts of the capital.

He pointed out that the project, which aims to provide food baskets to 1,000 families and support 16 charitable kitchens with necessary supplies, reflects the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership and the government to alleviate the suffering of the community under the difficult circumstances resulting from the ongoing aggression and blockade.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works explained that the food basket project comes within the framework of implementing the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council to embody the values ​​of solidarity, compassion, and cooperation among members of society.

He called on businessmen, philanthropists, and merchants to contribute to supporting the charitable kitchens that provide meals to impoverished families, alleviating their suffering and strengthening their resilience, especially during the holy month. For his part, the First Deputy Mayor of the Capital Governorate affirmed that the project strengthens community solidarity during the holy month and contributes to alleviating the suffering of the resilient community in the face of current challenges.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Azal District and the Mobilization Officer expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, and the Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water for this humanitarian initiative supporting charitable kitchens and providing food baskets to impoverished and extremely poor families, which embodies the core values ​​of the Yemeni people in solidarity, cooperation, and compassion.
