Al-Masawi Inaugurates First Phase of Haifan Road Maintenance Project in Taiz

Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, inaugurated today the first phase of the project to repair and maintain the main road in Haifan. The project was completed through community initiatives and cooperation between the private sector and the local authority.
Al-Masawi, in the presence of the Assistant Military Region Commanders, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khaled and Brigadier General Nour Al-Din Al-Marani, and the Director of Taiz Security, Brigadier General Shukri Mahyoub, emphasized that the project represents the fruit of cooperation between the Hayel Saeed Anam Group of Companies and the residents of Haifan District.
He noted that the work included the construction of retaining walls and protective barriers for the road, which was almost completely destroyed, and called on the private sector to contribute to sustainable development projects.
Meanwhile, the Director of Public Works in the governorate, Engineer Bakil Hamid, affirmed that the project embodies the national partnership between the private sector, the local authority, and the community, indicating that the second phase will be completed soon. For his part, Sheikh Al-Arouq Abdul Ghafour Al-Aghbari explained that the work lasted three and a half months, during which 13 dangerous turns were modified, 600 meters of the road were rehabilitated, two culverts were rehabilitated, and a total area of six thousand square meters was paved.
