Accordingly, the total indirect losses amounted to USD 34,300,775 — thirty-four million, three hundred thousand, seven hundred seventy-five United States dollars.
Honorable attendees,
These losses are not merely figures; rather, they reflect the extent of the severe damage inflicted upon the national carrier and its associated operational and service infrastructure, as well as the direct repercussions on the continuity of operations and the quality of air services provided to citizens.
We would also like to emphasize that the estimated losses sustained by Yemenia Airways since the beginning of the Saudi-Emirati-American aggression against our country, from 2015 until 2022, have amounted to approximately USD 2,000,700,000 — two billion, seven hundred thousand dollars.
The damage affected aircraft, facilities, and ground equipment. It also led to the suspension of flights, widespread disruption of operational activities, and the complete suspension of sales in all forms. This caused the company significant financial, technical, and operational losses and negatively affected its ability to meet its obligations and serve passengers.
Accordingly, Yemenia Airways affirms its full right to claim compensation for these damages and losses. It also calls for support for efforts to rehabilitate and restore the company’s operational readiness, and for ensuring the protection of civil aviation assets and facilities from any targeting, in a manner that preserves this vital facility and ensures the continuity of its national and service role.
Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
Thank you.
