Minister of Transport and Public Works and Head of Investment Authority Inspect Proposed Sites for Industrial Zones in Hamdan

 

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, and Head of the General Investment Authority, Mohammed Ishaq, inspected several proposed sites for establishing industrial zones in Hamdan District, Sana’a Governorate, today.

During the visit, Qahim and Ishaq received a briefing from the Director of the Governorate’s Public Works Office, Engineer Mohammed Ashiya, and the Director of the Hamdan District Public Works Office, Engineer Abed Shaya, on the promising investment advantages of the district, which is considered a prime example and well-suited to hosting such development projects.

They also received explanations from those in charge of the sites regarding the nature of the planned projects and the expansion plans aimed at strengthening the investment environment and localizing industries, thereby contributing to the national economy and creating new job opportunities.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works emphasized the Change and Reconstruction Government’s commitment to providing the necessary facilities for investors and removing all obstacles facing industrial and development projects. He noted the Ministry’s and relevant authorities’ commitment to providing all necessary facilities and streamlining procedures related to investment projects, thereby strengthening genuine partnerships with the private sector, in accordance with the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

For his part, the Chairman of the Investment Authority emphasized the commitment to creating an attractive investment environment and providing incentives and facilities that contribute to expanding industrial activity and encouraging national capital to establish productive projects that drive sustainable development.

They were accompanied during the visit by the heads of the Investment Operations and Services sectors at the Authority, Engineer Mohammed Al-Farza’i, Marketing and Promotion, Fawzi Al-Hammadi, and Planning and Administrative Development, Abdulrahman Al-Mahbashi, as well as a number of business leaders, investors, and officials from relevant agencies.
