Al-Sayani Chairs Meeting with Representatives from the Prime Minister’s Office Planning Sector and the Ministry’s Planning Team

 

Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works, Yahya Al-Sayani, chaired a meeting today, Monday, with a team from the Prime Minister’s Office Planning Sector and the Ministry’s Planning Team.

During the meeting, the progress made and updates in implementing priorities within the Ministry of Transport and Public Works’ plan for the year 1446 AH (2025/2026) were reviewed and discussed, as well as the Ministry’s plan for the year 1447 AH (2026/2027).

The meeting also addressed projects that were requested to be removed from the Ministry’s plan for the year 1447 AH (2026/2027), in addition to monitoring and following up on the implementation of the outcomes of the government workshop related to this matter.

At the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works commended the Planning Sector at the Prime Minister’s Office for its attention to monitoring the implementation of the Ministry’s plans and supporting the efforts of the Planning Team and relevant sectors within the Ministry to move forward with completing implementation according to the approved parameters, general guidelines, and the specified timeframe.

He stressed the need for all sectors of the Ministry and all those involved in implementing its plans to feel a sense of responsibility, and the importance of teamwork to achieve the best results. He affirmed the Ministry leadership’s readiness to overcome any obstacles that might hinder the implementation process.

Al-Sayani emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination and cooperation with the Planning Sector at the Prime Minister’s Office, which contributes to strengthening implementation mechanisms and achieving the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works.

Meanwhile, the head and members of the Planning Sector team at the Prime Minister’s Office explained that the purpose of the field visit was to monitor the level of implementation of the Ministry’s plans and provide technical support to ensure their completion, especially for priority projects and activities.
