Discussions on Coordination and Cooperation between the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and the Traffic Police

 

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, met today in Sana’a with the Director General of the Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, and several other traffic police leaders.

The meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works, Yahya Al-Sayani, and several other ministry officials, focused on ways to enhance coordination and cooperation between the ministry and the traffic police in carrying out joint tasks and operations, particularly those related to regulating traffic flow on roads and land transport.

During the meeting, the Minister of Transport and Public Works praised the ongoing efforts to develop and modernize the performance of the traffic police, which contributes to improving services for citizens and enhancing safety measures.

He emphasized the ministry’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the traffic police to promote road safety and implement necessary solutions to reduce accidents.

For his part, the Director General of Traffic Police expressed his appreciation for the cooperation between the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and the traffic police, which has resulted in the successful completion of numerous joint tasks and contributed to improving the level of services provided to citizens.
