Qahim and Al-Hawali Discuss Progress of Merger Implementation at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works

A meeting was held today between the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, and the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, to discuss aspects related to the progress of the merger process at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works.
During the meeting, the Minister of Transport and Public Works addressed the efforts undertaken by the technical committee for the merger within the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and the progress it has made in fulfilling its tasks.
He commended the level of coordination and continuous communication with the Ministry of Civil Service to ensure the success of the merger committee’s work and the completion of the remaining procedures and tasks.
Minister Qahim emphasized the Ministry of Transport and Public Works leadership’s commitment to supporting the merger committee’s work and overcoming any obstacles it faces to guarantee the best possible results, achieve the desired goals and objectives, and meet the aspirations of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the Change and Construction Government program. The Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development commended the Ministry of Transport and Public Works leadership for their attention to the merger, which he described as a strategic and priority task due to its importance in streamlining government operations.
The Minister of Transport and Public Works also visited the model Citizen Service Center at the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development, where he learned about the services it provides to citizens and members of the state’s administrative apparatus.
The Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Civil Service, toured the center’s departments and received a briefing from center staff on the operational procedures for providing services to citizens and employees and completing transactions according to a defined and time-bound process.
The Minister of Transport and Public Works praised the Citizen Service Center’s operational mechanisms, its modern equipment, and its advanced electronic systems, which he said would significantly improve service delivery to the public by simplifying and expediting procedures.
