The General Authority for Roads and Bridges Organizes an Event Commemorating the Anniversary of the Cry

The General Authority for Roads and Bridges organized a speech event today to commemorate the anniversary of the cry against the arrogant powers.

At the event, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, highlighted the significance of commemorating the anniversary of the cry, emphasizing its importance, its profound impact, and the positive results it has achieved in the life of the nation.

He pointed to the meaning and importance of the cry as a weapon and a stance, signifying explicit hostility towards those whom God has commanded us to oppose, exposing their criminal practices and malicious conspiracies against the nation, rejecting normalization with them, and working to resist them by all means.

Al-Hadrami referred to several Quranic verses that prohibit allegiance and support for the enemies of God and the enemies of Islam, represented today by the tyrants of our time: America, Israel, and those who orbit in their sphere. He explained that the slogan launched by the martyr leader, Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, is not merely a slogan, but rather a statement and a deed, translated into practical action and movement on the ground through general mobilization, marches, preparations to confront enemies, defense of the Book of God, and the issues and sacred values of the nation, and a comprehensive boycott of enemies politically, economically, culturally, and in the media, at all levels.

The head of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges stated that the slogan represents insight and jihad, giving and sacrifice, resistance, practical response to God and His Messenger, and a covenant, pledge, honor, and dignity.

At the event, which was attended by the Deputy Head of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Amir al-Din al-Houthi, and the Authority’s leaders and staff, Hamid Rizq, Director of Political Programs at Al-Masirah Channel, explained in his address the role the Authority plays in the field of construction and development, a front no less important than the military front. He stated that when the enemies of the nation fail militarily, they resort to threatening to target infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and other vital and strategic assets. This is what the Israeli enemy did in southern Lebanon, where they destroyed every bridge. The same is true in Iran, where the demented Trump continues to threaten to target bridges and infrastructure.

Rizk emphasized the importance of overcoming the state of weakness and fear that grips the soul, enabling individuals to move forward with strength in life. This is embodied in the slogan of the cry, a stance against the dangers threatening the nation.

He also touched upon the honorable stances of the Yemeni people, which have impressed the world, when this great nation, under its wise leadership, stood in direct confrontation with the forces of evil and arrogance—America and Israel—and supported and stood by its brothers in Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. Hamid Rizq stated that these courageous stances embody the awareness of the Yemeni people and their sense of the imminent danger that threatens the entire nation, at a time when a state of submission prevailed among the majority of Arab and Islamic countries, which stood by as mere spectators to the wars of aggression waged against Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran, without sensing the collective danger that will spare no one in the region.
