Meeting at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works Discusses Aspects Related to Completing the Merger Process

An expanded meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, chaired by the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development – Vice Chairman of the Higher Committee for Mergers, Dr. Khalid Al-Hawali, and attended by the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, to discuss aspects related to completing the merger process within the ministry.
The meeting, which included the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, the Chairman of the Technical Committee for Implementing the Merger, Dr. Tariq Al-Buraq, and committee members, reviewed the work completed and the achievements made in finalizing the executive procedures for transferring and merging all merged units within the Ministry of Transport and Public Works.
The meeting also reviewed and discussed the necessary solutions and remedies for the problems and obstacles related to the committee’s work.
The attendees emphasized the need to identify and approve the issues requiring resolution by the Higher Committee, and to define and approve the priorities of the ministry’s work program and the merger committees in the coming days. They emphasized the need for concerted efforts to implement the integration process efficiently and effectively, in accordance with the master plan for merging and modernizing public service units. This will ensure a smooth structural transition and the continuity of service and institutional performance for the merged entities during their transfer and integration into the new organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works.
During the meeting, the Minister of Transport and Public Works explained that the Technical Committee for Integration is working according to the established plan and methodology to guarantee the best possible results that meet the Ministry’s needs and enable it to fulfill its tasks and roles in the coming period.
He stressed the commitment to supporting the Committee and overcoming any obstacles it may face, thus contributing to the completion of its tasks within the specified timeframe. This is in line with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership and the government’s objectives.
He also noted the role of the Higher Committee for Integration in monitoring the work of the Technical Committee, which will contribute to the success of its tasks and the swift completion of the remaining work. For his part, the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development indicated that the merger process will have a significant impact on organizing work in the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its affiliated bodies and institutions, and will also positively reflect on improving the level of services provided to citizens.
