Meeting Chaired by Al-Sayani Discusses Preparations for the Ministry of Transport and Public Works’ Plan for 1448 AH

The main planning team at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works held a meeting today, chaired by Deputy Minister Yahya Al-Sayani, to discuss preparations for the Ministry’s plan for the year 1448 AH.
The meeting reviewed the report submitted by the Cabinet, represented by the Planning Sector, regarding the 1446 AH plan and the progress made on its programs and projects.
It also reviewed the implementation level of the Ministry’s plan for the year 1447 AH and the difficulties and obstacles facing the Ministry in implementing it. The Deputy Minister emphasized the need for the planning team to continue monitoring and submitting monthly reports to the government’s Planning Sector.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister stressed the importance of adhering to the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership, as well as the government’s guidelines and instructions, while preparing the Ministry’s plan for 1448 AH. He emphasized focusing on important and priority projects within the available resources to ensure their smooth implementation. He emphasized the need for the plan to meet all requirements and aspirations, ensuring the fulfillment of the significant tasks and responsibilities undertaken by the ministry, particularly following the merger.
He also stressed the importance of adhering to the directives issued regarding preparations for workshops for those involved in the planning process at the director-general level.
Al-Sayani urged the planning team to learn from past experiences to avoid any errors or shortcomings during the plan’s development and to prevent any difficulties during implementation.
He further instructed the Minister’s office to continuously monitor the ministry’s affiliated entities to streamline and simplify procedures, and to submit regular reports on this matter.
