Inspection of Yarim Line Rehabilitation Project in Ibb

Eng. Ibrahim Al-Shami, Director of the Public Works Office in Ibb Governorate, today inspected the progress of work on the rehabilitation and maintenance project for the Yarim-Irian-Rahab line in Al-Qafr District.
The road is 1,100 meters long and seven meters wide, at a cost of 147 million and 650 thousand riyals, funded locally.
During the visit, Eng. Al-Shami praised the work completed on the project, which has reached 35 percent completion. He emphasized the need to complete the remaining work according to technical specifications and within the specified timeframe.
He was accompanied by the Director of the Executive Unit in the Governorate, Eng. Khaled Al-Salahi; the Acting Director of Al-Qafr District, Zaid Al-Ra’ini; the Deputy Director of the Public Works Office, Eng. Yahya Al-Sada; the Director of Projects at the Office, Mujahid Anan; the Director of Public Works in the District, Mohammed Awadah; and a representative of the Road Maintenance Fund in the Governorate. The Director of the Governorate’s Public Works Office also reviewed the progress of traffic safety work on the Samara Pass – Kitab Road, which is being implemented by the General Authority for Roads and Bridges with funding from the Road Maintenance Fund.
During the visit, he listened to an explanation from the Governorate’s Road Maintenance Fund representative, Engineer Abdulghani Al-Dhahabi, about the nature of the work being carried out to mitigate traffic accidents and ensure citizen safety.
Engineer Al-Shami commended the Ministry of Transport and Public Works’ leadership for its commitment to implementing work that serves the public interest.
