Al-Ruwaishan stresses the need to preserve the lands and precincts of Sana’a Airport

The Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Chairman of the Main Technical Committee for Preserving the Land and Sanctuary of Sana’a Airport, Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, stressed the need to preserve the Sann’a International Airport campus from any attacks.
At the first meeting of the Technical Committee , Al-Ruwaishan pointed out the importance of everyone sensing responsibility and working to develop effective solutions, both in their areas of competence, and to come up with clear visions and work with them to preserve the airport’s lands and campuses.
In turn, the Minister of Transport, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Amer Al-Marani, reviewed the field landing report for the Sana’a International Airport campus and the project of the executive mechanism.. He indicated that the draft executive mechanism had been prepared based on the landing report on preserving the lands and campus of Sana’a Airport and the requirements guaranteeing the technical operation and future expansion of the airport.
He pointed out that the executive mechanism was developed according to a well-studied basis from the ground and carries with it the appropriate solutions to preserve the lands and precincts of the airport.. He pointed out the importance of the cooperation of the various stakeholders and related parties in the committee, for the success of the mechanism.
In its meeting, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Justice, Dr. Ismail Al-Wazir, Assistant Minister of Defense for Human Resources, Major General Ali Al-Kahlani, and Chairman of the General Authority for Land, Survey and Urban Planning, Dr. Hashem Al-Shami, the formation of four committees, including the Fence Project Execution Committee, and the Committee for Receiving Complaints and Redressing the Affected, approved the formation of four committees. The Committee for the Implementation of Neighborhood Units and Streets Building in the vicinity of the Airport, and the Committee for Monitoring Obstacles in the vicinity of the Airport.
The meeting discussed the committee’s work mechanism, the tasks of each party, the nomination of members of the committees from the relevant authorities, the plan to build the Sana’a airport fence and resolving any problems in this regard.
The committee reviewed reports submitted by the Deputy Minister of Justice and the Head of the Land Authority, on land problems and the campus of Sana’a Airport.
The meeting was attended by the deputy of the Ministry of Transport for the Air Transport Sector Abdullah Al-Ansi, the Undersecretary of the Capital Municipality for the Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, the deputy of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Raed Jabal, the deputy of the Security and Intelligence Service, Major General Fawaz Nashwan, and representatives of a number of relevant authorities.
