In the event, which was attended by members of the Supreme Political Council Sultan Al-Sami’i and Jaber Al-Wahbani, the senior political member, Muhammad Saleh Al-Nuaimi, pointed to the importance of commemorating the first anniversary of the late Major General Yahya Al-Shami and his son Zakaria, to remind their positions and their role in opposing the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression against the people. He stressed that, with their departure, Yemen lost two experienced leaders and two statesmen who devoted most of their lives to serving the country, especially in the armed forces, defending the homeland, its security and stability, and confronting the forces of aggression and its tools of mercenaries and agents.
Al-Nuaimi pointed out that the first anniversary of the deceased coincides with the National Day of Resilience in the Face of the Aggression Forces, which failed miserably, became naked, and were subjected to humiliation, shame and defeat.
At the event, in the presence of the Speaker of Parliament, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Rahi, the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, affirmed that the country has lost, with the departure of Major General Yahya Al-Shami and his son Zakaria, two prominent leaders who were characterized by national responsibility and high efficiency.
He pointed out that Major General Yahya al-Shami was an exceptional person and contributed a great role in the lives of the Yemeni people over the past decades.. Pointing out that the country, which is full of continuous dramatic events, needs personalities such as the great deceased who set an example for the wise leader through his quest to unify political forces in a manner that serves the cohesion of the front. interior.
Dr. Bin Habtoor considered this approach one of the basic factors that should be given attention, especially as the Yemeni people are facing the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression…noting the patriotic theses of the late Shami who are far from settling accounts and narrow whims and looking for a new, comprehensive national formula.
He explained that the father’s personality clearly affected the personality of his son Zakaria… indicating that the deceased Zakaria was an example of a committed and disciplined official in the performance of his leadership duties and national duties.
The Prime Minister recalled the role of the deceased Zakaria in preserving the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated entities, and developing their service institutional performance, in addition to his role in leading the Ministry of Defense after launching the aggression on Yemen directly.
The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to the family of the deceased Al-Shami, which showed strength in overcoming a great ordeal it received, as a result of losing a father and mother in one period.
At the event, which was attended by the heads of the Shura Councils, Muhammad Hussein Al-Aidarous and the Supreme Judiciary, Judge Ahmed Yahya Al-Mutawakel, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, affirmed that Major General Yahya Al-Shami will remain a leader, role model and a shining history for everyone who knew him and lived his positions.
He pointed out that the deceased Yahya al-Shami was known in various military and political positions for the justice of opinion and decision, the solidity of the position, the strength of wit, and the human spirit.
Lieutenant-General Al-Ruwaishan reported that the pure military education of the late Yahya Al-Shami merged with the personality of the ascetic, devout and committed man, who remained closely with him until his death.
He reviewed part of his personal biography that is full of struggle, his positive roles in the war in the central regions, and his tireless quest to extend the influence of the state and achieve security and stability.
In turn, the Minister of Transport, Amer Al-Marani, affirmed that the deceased Yahya and Zakaria Al-Shami never gave up serving the country in all the tasks assigned to them, whether in the civil or military.
He explained that the aggression tried to target them several times, and Major General Zakaria al-Shami was placed on his wanted list, because of the importance of the deceased in decision-making and community development.
Minister Al-Marani pointed out that Major General Yahya Al-Shami and his son Zakaria are well-known personalities in Yemen and the world.
At the event, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs Mahmoud Al-Junaid and a number of members of the Council of Ministers, Representatives and Shura Council, Chairman of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Wadai, indicated that the first anniversary of the late Yahya and Zakaria Al-Shami comes and has won the hearts of those who knew them, both On a personal level or at work.
He considered their departure a loss for the homeland. He said: “Words and sentences do not fulfill the right of two patriotic missionaries who are loyal to the homeland in word and deed, and the field bears witness to them, and their fingerprints are still and will be remembered by generations, for their patriotic stances in the face of aggression and building the modern Yemeni state.”
In the speech of the sons and families of the deceased, Idris Yahya Al-Shami affirmed the continuation of the path of his father and brother in facing the aggression until achieving victory and building the modern Yemeni state under the leadership of the leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the Supreme Political Council.
He reviewed a summary of the lives of the two deceased, their life path, and positions in the scientific and practical fields.
The event included, in the presence of advisors of the Supreme Political Council, military and security leaders, undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport, the Undersecretary of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, colleagues, friends, relatives and lovers of the deceased, a presentation on the biography of Major General Yahya Al-Shami and his son Zakaria, and poetic paragraphs.
In addition, the family and sons of the deceased, Major General Yahya and Zakaria Al-Shami, presented a food convoy on this anniversary, in conjunction with the National Day of Resilience, to the heroes of the army and popular committees stationed on the fronts.
