Civil Aviation Authority: Sana’a Airport is a civil facility and provides navigation services in accordance with international conditions

The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology confirmed that Sanaa International Airport is a civilian facility that provides navigation services in accordance with international conditions and that there are no military manifestations in it, as the countries of the aggression coalition claim, which seeks to paralyze the airport and destroy its infrastructure.

The official spokesman for civil aviation and meteorology, Dr. Mazen Ghanem, told  that any targeting of Sana’a International Airport represents a direct targeting of humanitarian and relief aid that would exacerbate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

He said, “The countries of aggression should lift the ban on Sana’a International Airport to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, instead of targeting it and destroying its infrastructure that serves the air navigation of the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen.”

He called for the opening of an international investigation to expose the violations of the aggression countries, their targeting and siege of airports, and the demand of the Civil Aviation Organization to assume its responsibilities, in condemning the targeting of Yemeni airports, and working to quickly lift the illegal ban on Sanaa airport.

The divine spokesman also called on the international community and the United Nations to condemn and stop the systematic aggressive behavior of the countries of the coalition of aggression, which aims to destroy Sana’a International Airport.

He called on the free people of the world to go out in rallies in various countries of the world to stand up to the grievances of the Yemeni people and to expose the crimes and violations of the countries of aggression against civilians and infrastructure in Yemen
