Discussing the establishment of a workshop on the dangers of drugs in Sana’a

A meeting in Sana’a discussed arrangements for holding an introductory workshop on the dangers and harms of drugs.

The meeting, which included the head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Abdullah Al-Wadayi, and the Director of the Training and Rehabilitation Department at the General Department for Drug Control at the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Aiban Al-Radhi, discussed the implementation of awareness-raising events, activities and exhibitions on the dangers of drugs.

Al-Wadai’i stressed the participation of representatives of transport companies and their representatives and the General Postal Authority in the workshop, and their role in the detection of drugs in letters and postal parcels and cooperation with the relevant authorities in this aspect.

The meeting was attended by a number of anti-drug officers.
