Dr. Bin Habtoor participates in a speech event for the Ministry of Transport and Works on the anniversary of the martyr

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, participated in a speech event organized by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its agencies and institutions today on the occasion of the annual Martyr’s Day 1446 AH, along with an exhibition of photos of the ministry’s martyrs.

In the event, the member of the Political Council pointed out the importance of holding such events within the framework of commemorating this anniversary in recognition of the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, including those presented by this government sector.. stressing that the martyrs of the homeland will remain immortal in the record and memory of the homeland.

He explained that this occasion requires everyone to search in the heroic record of these martyrs to draw inspiration from the lessons and meanings of sacrifice, redemption and martyrdom.

He said, “We celebrate these days the memory of the martyrs who immortalized themselves in the record of the immortals, which is one of the greatest records in the history of peoples and nations.”

Dr. bin Habtoor explained that the Yemeni people have presented tens of thousands of martyrs from the best and greatest sons of Yemen for more than nine years, which makes commemorating this anniversary a source of pride and honor for everyone.

He added, “This is one of the stations in which we commit ourselves to keeping the annual anniversary of the martyr part of our activities, work and programs throughout the year and to do what we can to care for their children and families.”

He stressed that the Political Council highly appreciates all the efforts made by all institutions and agencies that work to care for the families of the martyrs, as well as the file of the wounded who sacrificed their lives for the glory and prosperity of Yemen.

The member of the Supreme Political Council pointed out that in conjunction with our people commemorating the annual anniversary of the martyr, dozens and hundreds of martyrs from our brothers in the Gaza Strip, southern Lebanon and the southern suburb of Beirut are rising daily within the framework of the war of extermination carried out by the Zionist enemy with the blessing and actual participation of American and European Zionism.

He considered the current confrontation with the Zionist enemy and the extent of the sacrifices made by the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, including their great leaders, a stage in the stages of liberation from the usurping Zionist enemy.

He stated that no people on earth were liberated without making great sacrifices of the blood and lives of their sons.

The member of the Supreme Political Council stated that the martyrs are the breath that free nations breathe in order to awaken awareness and liberate themselves from colonialism, which today is the last link of the Zionist colonialism.

He stated that while the leaders of the axis of resistance and support raised the banner of jihad in support of our brothers in Palestine, there are Arab and Muslim leaders who abandoned the defense of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and our people in Palestine and Lebanon and honor and dignity.

At the end of his speech, he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works for organizing this event.

For his part, the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, stressed the importance of commemorating the annual anniversary of the martyr because of its great status associated with the martyrs who sacrificed in defense of religion and homeland, writing the greatest heroism and epics in confronting aggression.

He said, “The culture of jihad revived by the martyr leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi has yielded pride, loftiness and victory for the Yemeni people.”

Minister Qahim pointed out that the martyrs made glory and freedom for Yemen and thwarted the aggression’s plans… renewing the pledge of loyalty to the martyrs and following in their footsteps in confronting the forces of aggression, and triumphing for the truth and confronting falsehood.

He touched on the great sacrifices made by the sons of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in the fateful confrontation with the Israeli enemy and the great results achieved by the Mujahideen in Gaza and southern Lebanon.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works praised the qualitative operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces deep inside the enemy, the latest of which was targeting a number of military and vital targets of the Israeli enemy in the areas of Jaffa and Ashkelon in occupied Palestine.

In the event attended by the Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shiban, Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani, Chairman of the General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs Taha Jarran, and Fadl Al-Samad, son of the late President Saleh Al-Samad, Deputy Chairman of the General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs Abdul Salam Al-Talibi stressed the importance of commemorating this dear occasion for the Yemeni people.

He pointed out that thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs, Yemen has a strong presence that has reached the direct confrontation with America and the Zionist enemy in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.

In the speech of the families of the martyrs, Al-Mutawakkil Al-Junaid explained that the blood of the martyrs has yielded victory and pride for the homeland.. noting that the martyrs sacrificed their pure souls in defense of the homeland so that it remains steadfast and strong.

He stressed continuing on the path of the martyrs in confronting the aggression against and supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese people.

The event, which was attended by officials of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and heads of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemenia Airlines, Khalil Jahaf, and Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Aref Al-Ashram, included a presentation on the martyrs of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works.

The member of the Supreme Political Council and the Ministers of Transport and Public Works, Health and Environment, and the Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works honored the families of the martyrs of the ministry and its various sectors and affiliated institutions with shields, gifts and symbolic amounts.
