Hodeidah Governorate Agents inspect the progress of work at the port

Hodeidah Governorate Agents Mohammed Al-Nahari, Mohammed Halisi and Ali Kabari inspected the progress of work at the port.
They were briefed on the activity of the docks and the efforts made to receive ships and containers and unload goods, and the accompanying mechanisms to enhance the service role of this vital artery, which is of great importance in providing the people’s needs for goods and commodities.
During the visit, they listened from the Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Al-Washli, to an explanation of the commercial and navigational activities at the Hodeidah Port docks, the movement of handling and unloading goods and the services provided to ships.
They also listened to an explanation of the needs and aspects related to the damages suffered by the port, including the bridge cranes, as a result of the targeting of the Israeli aggression, and the plans to raise the efficiency and operational capacity of the port.
The agents praised the efforts of the Red Sea Ports Corporation and its effective role in improving the workflow at the port of Hodeidah, stressing that the visit comes within the framework of the local authority leadership’s keenness to support the corporation’s management in light of the current challenges.
