Meeting chaired by Al-Rahawi to develop traffic police

A meeting was held today headed by the Prime Minister, Ahmed Ghaleb Al -Rahwi, devoted to discussing the matrix of the project to enhance and develop the traffic police mechanism and its pivotal role in regulating traffic and reducing traffic accidents.

The meeting, in which the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, General Jalal Ali Al -Ruwaishan, Minister of Transport and Public Works Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, Secretary of the Capital Dr. Hamoud Abbad, Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdel -Majid Al -Murtada, and Assistant Director of the Prime Minister Office Taha Al -Sufyani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security and Intelligence Affairs, Major General Ali Hussein Al -Houthi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Muhammad Amer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Road Maintenance Fund, Eng. General Traffic, Major General Dr. Bakil El -Barashi … She studies ways to implement the matrix provided by the Ministry of Interior and the Traffic Police, which covered a number of basic aspects related to providing urgent ingredients to control traffic at the level of the capital’s secretariat as a better stage.

The matrix, which has paid special attention to providing and installing modern traffic lights in the capital of the capital, Sanaa, aims to regulate traffic in the public street, enhance discipline in traffic, reduce traffic accidents, and reduce their risk in addition to reducing the traffic between cars. And pedestrians, as well as self -control with signals through modern means and technologies through artificial intelligence, which identifies the state of traffic in the surrounding roads, and interacts with the appropriate time switch in its three colors, and so that it helps to pass a smooth passage that reduces bottlenecks.

The matrix touched on the current traffic situation in the capital’s secretariat in light of the continuous increase in the number of cars of all kinds, motorcycles, the intensity of their movement and their flow on the roads and intersections with the lack of traffic lights, which contribute to an active role in reducing the burdens on traffic men.

The matrix dealt with future aspirations to organize more accurate traffic in the streets of cities and main roads by relying in an integrated manner on artificial intelligence techniques.

The meeting concluded a number of procedures to implement the first stage of the matrix, including providing the technical and technical equipment and equipment necessary to implement this stage with the determination of the roles assigned to the various relevant authorities, especially the interior, transportation, public works, communications, information technology, electricity, energy and the capital’s secretariat in the implementation process and in This is to prepare the infrastructure for tours and intersections, equip the traffic control center, and the installation of smart signals in 45 rounds and a major intersection within the first stage to be implemented in a maximum period of six months from its date.

At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister endorsed the minutes of the executive procedures for the matrix after signing it by the concerned and participants in the implementation process.
