Statement Issued by the Symposium Entitled: (The Nakba Anniversary and the Continuation of Zionist Crimes… An Analysis of Violations Against Palestine and Lebanon)

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (May 15, 1948), and following the symposium in which researchers and specialists participated, the participants announce the following statement:
First:
“The Zionist enemy continues to perpetrate the Nakba through forced displacement, demolition, and annexation in the West Bank and Gaza. It continues its daily attacks on southern Lebanon and is expanding its occupation of vast areas of Syrian territory, exploiting the circumstances.”
Second:
Experience has proven that the Zionist enemy has not honored any of the peace agreements or signed understandings. Rather, it has used them to consolidate its occupation, expand its settlements, and entrench displacement. Its claims of peace are nothing but a cover for the continuation of violations.
Third:
“The Greater Israel project and Netanyahu’s alleged strategic shift are an extension of the Nakba, aiming to redraw the map by force, displace populations, and liquidate the Palestinian cause. The symposium declares that confronting this expansionist project is an urgent national responsibility that requires Arab and Islamic unity.”
Fourth:
The symposium calls upon all Arab states to abandon narrow calculations and unite immediately and urgently in confronting the Zionist occupation, and not to be deceived by the illusions of negotiations or the repeated “deals of the century.”
Fifth:
We emphasize the necessity of full solidarity with the victims of displacement and genocide in the Gaza Strip, with the Lebanese cities and villages that are subjected to daily bombardment, burning, and destruction, and with every Palestinian and Arab prisoner facing the death penalty, medical neglect, and torture in the occupation’s prisons.
Sixth:
We demand the immediate opening of international crossings to allow the entry of medical and relief aid into Gaza and Lebanon, the lifting of the siege, the prosecution of Zionist war criminals before international criminal courts, and the exposure of the scandals of violations committed against civilians and prisoners. Seventh:
We emphasize the need for linguistic vigilance. The term “Middle East” is a colonial designation that we reject, and normalization is a crime that legitimizes the occupation, which we reject in all its forms, along with other such terms.
Eighth:
We demand that war criminals be called by their true names. Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal according to the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant (November 21, 2024), and he and all the leaders of the occupation must be prosecuted internationally.
Ninth:
We stand firmly with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and the honorable resistance. We affirm that the right of return, resistance, and liberation are legitimate options guaranteed by international conventions. We also affirm our solidarity with Hezbollah in its refusal to negotiate directly with the Zionist enemy.
No to the occupation of yesterday and today! No to the continued theft of land! No to the so-called “Greater Israel” project! Yes to a Palestine from the river to the sea! Yes to a free and dignified Lebanon! Yes to a unified and liberated Syria! And yes to a resistant Arab region that does not submit to forced change or Zionist projects!
Issued on (the first of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH – May 18, 2026 AD) – (Sana’a)
Mercy to the martyrs, healing to the wounded, relief to the prisoners, and victory to the mujahideen.
