Minister of Transport: Opening the main roads between the governorates is a necessity to alleviate the suffering of citizens

Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, confirmed that the forces of aggression and mercenaries are blocking many roads, such as the Marib Sanaa Road, Bayhan Al-Bayha, Dhamar, Sana’a, Aden Al-Dhalea, and Taiz Al-Rahda.
In his intervention with Al-Masirah, Al-Durra explained that the aggression’s blocking of main roads in a number of governorates pushed locomotives to take other more expensive and difficult roads.
He pointed out that the citizen is a victim of delay fines resulting from the arrest of locomotives at closed land ports by the forces of aggression and mercenaries.
He said, “We appealed to the United Nations that the truce should include the opening of all roads, crossings and ports, because land transport plays a key role in alleviating the suffering of citizens.”
He added that opening the main roads between the governorates is an absolute necessity to alleviate the suffering of the citizens, noting that alleviating the suffering of the people in the various governorates should be a priority in any meeting and consultations.
