Minister of Transport: We will not accept the aggression’s ban on flights through Sanaa Airport

The caretaker Minister of Transport, Major General Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, confirmed , Tuesday, that the countries of the Saudi-American aggression coalition are constantly seeking to ban flights to return us to square one, stressing that we will not accept that.
In a statement to the Al Masirah Network correspondent, the Minister of Transport said: The position of the revolutionary and political leadership has been announced, and all parties are committed to that, and we will only accept the opening of all destinations to the Yemeni people.
Al-Durra pointed out that there is no United Nations decision to stop Sanaa Airport and impose a siege on it, and what the aggression coalition is doing is a war crime.
For his part, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemeni Airlines, Khalil Jahaf, said: The aggression recently surprised us by scheduling one flight to a single destination, which is Amman, Jordan.
He stressed that the catastrophic matter is that more than 50% of the plane’s seats are designated for sale outside Yemen, adding that transferring ticket sales outside Yemen leads to additional burdens and increases restrictions and suffering on the Yemeni people.
Jahaf stressed that patchwork solutions and half-measures are completely rejected, and our demands are clear to lift restrictions on Sanaa International Airport.
The management of the Yemeni Airlines Company in the capital, Sana’a, confirmed yesterday, Monday, that the Saudi aggression coalition is not serious about opening Sana’a International Airport by scheduling only one destination, which is “Sanaa-Amman flights.”
Yemen Airways confirmed, in a statement, that the aggression coalition continues to completely close Sanaa International Airport and allocate seats for sale outside Yemen.
She stressed that this is a clear circumvention and repudiation of his lack of seriousness in opening Sanaa International Airport with the aim of increasing the suffering of the Yemeni people and relieving them of embarrassment before the international community.
It also confirmed that this step is completely unacceptable, as it is a circumvention of the opening of Sanaa Airport, an attempt to throw ashes in the eyes, and a disavowal by the aggression coalition of its obligations to lift restrictions on Sanaa Airport, which provides navigational and humanitarian services to two-thirds of the population of the Republic of Yemen.
He stated that the patchwork and procrastination solutions pursued by the Saudi aggression coalition are useless and will not be accepted by the Yemeni leadership and people, except by the complete and comprehensive opening of Sanaa International Airport.
The Yemeni Airlines management statement indicated that it had sent the aggression coalition to schedule flights to three destinations, Cairo, India, and Jordan, to approve permits for them.
He pointed out that flights and destinations are a right of the Yemeni people guaranteed by international laws and conventions and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The management of Yemen Airways in Sana’a held the Saudi aggression coalition fully responsible for its continued stubbornness and obstinacy in preventing the opening of Sana’a airport.
