The Civil Aviation Authority contributes ten buses to the “Takafulon” initiative

 

The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, in cooperation with the General Authority for Land Transport Regulatory Affairs, launched today the “Takafulon” initiative for free transportation in the Capital Municipality.

At the inauguration, the head of the Land Transport Authority, Walid Al-Wadi’i, confirmed that the launch of the initiative comes within the framework of concerted official and societal efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the siege and prevent the entry of oil derivatives ships.

He pointed out that the Civil Aviation Authority participated in the Mutakafuloun initiative with ten buses that will be distributed on the lines (Al-Hasaba – Airport, and Al-Hasba – Jidar), bringing the number of buses in the Mutakafuloun initiative in the Secretariat to more than 160 buses and buses, and more than 200 buses and buses at the level of the Capital Municipality and the rest of the city. provinces.

Al-Wadai’i called on all parties to contribute to this initiative that serves the Yemeni people and contributes to breaking the siege.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Raed Talib Jabal, confirmed that the inauguration of the General Aviation Authority, in cooperation with the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, coincides with the National Day of Resilience and the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.

He expressed the hope to expand the initiative to include other aspects of the citizen’s life and alleviate his suffering.

The inauguration was attended by the authority’s assistant undersecretaries, director general of air transport, Dr. Mazen Ghanem, director general of the authority’s branch for regulating land transport affairs in the secretariat, Muhammad al-Shahari, representatives of the Social Affairs Office and the Yemen Oil Company
