The Land Transport Authority launches the initiative for the free transport project

 

The General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs launched  the “Takafulon” initiative for the free transport project in the capital, Sana’a, in cooperation with the Yemen Oil Company and the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in the Secretariat.

 

The initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of citizens of all segments due to the lack of oil derivatives fabricated by the coalition of aggression and its mercenaries through maritime piracy on oil derivatives ships.

 

At the inauguration, the head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Waadi, praised the initiative of the free transport project, which comes as a translation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in alleviating the suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression, the siege, and the detention of oil derivatives ships.

 

He explained that the initiative included running 20 free buses for four lines in the capital, Sana’a, as a first stage. Each line includes five medium buses and 25-passenger buses.

 

He pointed out that the first stage includes the Farzah Sheraton – Old University – Al-Hasba Farza – Hayel – Baghdad itinerary, while the third line is the Farzah Bab al-Yaman – Hayel – Mazrah path, and the fourth is the Farzah Taiz tour – the old university – the new university.

 

Al-Wadi’i pointed out that, in cooperation with the Yemeni Oil Company and the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, it seeks, through the initiative of the Free Transport Project, to expand the routes to include all lines and sorting of the Municipality of the capital.

 

The head of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority called on all government agencies to interact by removing buses and buses to work on the free transport project, in coordination with the authority, so that the process would be regular and tidy.

 

He also called on the private sector, merchants and businessmen to actively contribute to providing material support for the project to purchase oil derivatives, which would contribute to achieving the desired goals for the success of the phases of the “Takafulon” initiative for the free transport project and alleviating the suffering of citizens.

 

The directors of the authority’s branch in the secretariat, Muhammad al-Shahari, and the office of social and labor affairs in the secretariat, Nasser al-Kahli, and representatives of the Yemen Oil Company attended.
