Discussion of Coordination Between the Ministries of Oil, Transport, and Economy

 

A joint meeting was held in Sana’a today, bringing together the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, and the Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri.

The meeting focused on discussing coordination and integration among the three ministries and mechanisms to enhance joint work in order to expedite the completion of pending projects and files.

The meeting reviewed issues and topics of common interest and ways to overcome difficulties and obstacles hindering the implementation of certain projects, thereby strengthening institutional performance and improving coordination among relevant entities.

The attendees emphasized the importance of strengthening ongoing cooperation among the three ministries and working as a unified team to accomplish shared tasks according to practical plans that contribute to improving the level of services and streamlining procedures related to the work of various government agencies.

They stressed the need for periodic follow-up on existing files, and the development of clear implementation mechanisms that ensure speedy completion and address challenges in a way that serves the public interest and keeps pace with the state’s directions in developing administrative and institutional performance.
