Taiz… Al-Masawi Inspects Several Road Projects in Maqbana District

The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, inspected several road projects in Maqbana District today.
Al-Masawi, accompanied by the First Deputy Governor, Mohammed Al-Khalidi, Deputy Governor, Fouad Hail, and the Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khaled, inspected the progress of the Hajdah-Al-Barh road rehabilitation and maintenance project in Maqbana. This project is being implemented by the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, funded by the local authority and the Road Maintenance Fund, at a cost of 700 million riyals.
Al-Masawi, along with the Director of the Public Works Office, Engineer Bakil Hamid, the Director of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges branch in Taiz, Engineer Mohammed Al-Sami’i, the Executive Unit Director, Hussam Al-Fatesh, and the Maqbana District Director, also inspected the progress of the asphalt road protection project in Al-Kamb Saqam. Al-Masawi and his entourage, who are overseeing the 120 million riyal project jointly funded by the local authority and the Road Maintenance Fund, received a briefing on the progress of the ongoing work to construct protective walls along the asphalt road.
The acting governor emphasized that the implementation of road projects in the province reflects the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership, the government’s program for change and development, and the local authority’s commitment to service and development projects.
He commended the level of achievement in these strategic and vital road projects, which contribute to protecting main roads from the dangers of floods and erosion.
