Workshop for Transportation Representatives and Bus Drivers in the Capital Governorate

The Sana’a Traffic Police organized a workshop today for transportation transportation representatives and bus drivers in the Capital Governorate as part of community awareness programs to promote traffic discipline.
The First Deputy Governor of the Capital Governorate, Khaled Al-Madani, delivered an awareness lecture, emphasizing the important role of the Traffic Police in ensuring traffic safety and protecting the lives and property of citizens.
He urged bus drivers to adopt positive behavior and avoid incorrect conduct and negative practices that contradict Islamic teachings and the Yemeni identity, and are inconsistent with Yemeni customs, traditions, and morals.
Al-Madani stressed the necessity of upholding virtuous morals and refraining from disturbing behaviors that disrupt public order and violate public decency. He emphasized that public streets are not places for exercising personal freedoms, which requires awareness and avoidance of wrong practices. For his part, the Director General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, highlighted the efforts being made to improve traffic management, including the field deployment plan during Eid al-Adha.
He addressed the measures taken to reduce traffic violations, congestion, and accidents, emphasizing that there are several observations related to bus operations, the requirements for organizing the sorting process, and ways to address the accumulated problems, overlaps, and haphazardness from previous phases.
The workshop, which was attended by the Director of Traffic for the Capital Governorate, Brigadier General Najib Al-Asadi, concluded with a number of results and recommendations aimed at strengthening the relationship with the community, consolidating public order, promoting public etiquette, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
