Discussions on Cooperation Between the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and the Model Police Hospital

Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, met today with the Director of the Model Police Hospital, Brigadier General Dr. Fahd Al-Madoumi, and the Director of the Hospital’s Technical Office, Dr. Ahmed Mutahhar.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, discussions focused on cooperation between the two sides. This included providing health insurance for Ministry of Transport and Public Works employees and paving and asphalting the hospital grounds.

The meeting also addressed the possibility of the Ministry constructing a dedicated parking area at the Police Hospital, as well as building an alternative pedestrian bridge to facilitate traffic flow, reduce accidents, and ensure pedestrian safety.

During the meeting, the Minister of Transport and Public Works commended the leadership and staff of the Police Hospital for their role in developing and improving the level of medical services and enhancing the hospital’s infrastructure.

The hospital director praised the Ministry of Transport and Public Works for its efforts in construction and development, and for implementing infrastructure projects across various sectors.
