Inspection of Progress on Several Road Projects in Sa’dah Governorate

The Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works for the Roads Sector and Head of the Road Maintenance Fund, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, and the Deputy Governor of Sa’dah for Public Works and Director of the Road Construction and Development Executive Unit, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Nimri, inspected several road projects funded by the Fund in the governorate .
They reviewed the progress of the project to pave the southern ring road of Sa’dah city, including the construction of a drainage channel, the project to maintain internal streets in Sa’dah city, which is being implemented by the Executive Unit, and the project to pave the Sa’dah-Dammaj-Al Salem road, which is being implemented by the General Authority for Roads and Bridges.
The two deputies, along with the Director of the Roads Authority branch in the governorate, Engineer Abdul Salam Al-Sharif, listened to explanations from those in charge of the projects regarding the level of implementation, progress, and remaining phases.
Al-Haifi explained that the purpose of the visit was to assess the urgent needs to ensure the continued implementation of road projects in the governorate and guarantee their completion. Al-Nimri praised the role of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, through the Road Maintenance Fund, in financing projects that contribute to improving services and developing the governorate’s infrastructure.
He also addressed the governorate’s urgent need for road projects, particularly the paving, repair, and maintenance of numerous roads and streets in Sa’dah city and its districts, which would alleviate the suffering of the community.
They were accompanied during the visit by Hamid Jamil, Director of the Social Welfare Fund branch in the governorate, Abdullah Jubran, Director of the Technical Unit, and several engineers from the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund.
