Minister of Transport: Inauguration of first group of pilgrims at dawn tomorrow, Tuesday, through Sana’a International Airport

 

The Minister of Transport in the caretaker government, Abdul Wahab Yahya Al-Durra, announced the inauguration of the pilgrims through Sana’a International Airport tomorrow, Tuesday, to Jeddah to perform Hajj and Umrah for this year 1445 AH.

The Minister of Transport told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the number of pilgrims who will leave through Sanaa International Airport is eight thousand and 200 pilgrims.

He pointed out that the number of flights for the pilgrims through Sanaa International Airport to Jeddah is 44.

He noted the keenness and interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in Yemeni pilgrims in general and the provision of all facilities and travel procedures, whether by air or land.

He stressed that the ministries of transport and guidance, Hajj and Umrah affairs, the Civil Aviation Authority, meteorology and Yemen Airways have completed arrangements and preparations for the pilgrims from Sanaa International Airport.

He said: “We were keen to ensure that the procedures and transactions at the airport for the pilgrims in record time, easily and conveniently and in accordance with international requirements and conditions.
