The leadership of the Red Sea Ports Corporation meets with the leadership of the Central Organization for Control and Accounting and the General Authority for the Development of Tihama

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, Zaid Ahmed Taha Al-Washli, met today, Tuesday, 4/23/2024 AD, with the leadership of the Central Organization for Control and Accounting and the General Authority for the Development of Tihama. During the meeting, aspects of common interest were discussed.

The meeting, in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, Nasr Abdullah Al-Nusairi, the Undersecretary of the branch of the Central Agency for Control and Accounting in Hodeidah, Mahmoud Muhammad Jahaf, the Director General of the Authority’s Economic Units, Saeed Kassir, and the Chairman of the General Authority for the Development of Tihama, Ali Qadi Ali Hazza, reviewed the measures taken to develop work, improve performance, and speed up cargo handling procedures. Exporting and importing to and from the corporation’s ports.

The Undersecretary of the Central Organization for Control and Accounting and the Head of the Tihama Development Authority listened to a detailed explanation from the Chairman of the Corporation’s Board of Directors and his deputy about the overall work and procedures taken at the Corporation’s ports to develop business and facilitate procedures. The Undersecretary of the Central Organization for Control and Accounting appreciated the cooperation of the Corporation’s leadership in the field of strengthening oversight efforts.
For his part, the head of the General Authority for the Development of Tihama indicated that the authority is working to improve agricultural products in an effort to export them to various countries, calling for facilitating the work of Yemeni exporters and coordinating with shipping lines to export agricultural exports through the Yemeni Red Sea ports. ..praising the cooperation of the institution’s leadership in serving the public interest.

During the meeting, the Foundation’s leadership emphasized full cooperation with the Authority to achieve positive results to support local agricultural products and provide all possible facilities to export them abroad so that their gains can be returned to farmers and contribute effectively to strengthening the national economy and protecting it from collapse in light of a brutal aggression that seeks to do so.

The meeting was attended by the Corporation’s general managers of the container terminal, Captain Shawqi Murshid, financial affairs, Abdullah Harba, legal affairs, Mutahar Al-Amdi, auditing, Nasser Ayoub, and deputy general director of Al-Salif Port, Hussein Nasser, and from the Tihama Development Authority, agricultural exports official, Hossam Al-Ahdal.
