The Meteorological Center denies declaring a state of emergency in a number of governorates

The National Center of Meteorology denied the validity of the news being circulated about it declaring a state of emergency and raising preparedness in a number of governorates of the Republic, most notably the capital secretariat, in anticipation of heavy rains.
The center explained that seasonal rains are still affecting a number of the governorates referred to in its daily bulletin and is dealing with them according to their severity.
The statement confirmed that the center has a gradual process of issuing special bulletins that begin with warning, warning, warning, and then the highest, which is emergency.
The Center called on citizens and the competent authorities in those governorates to continue dealing with the expected rains responsibly, in accordance with the bulletin issued by the National Center of Meteorology.
