Inaugurating spraying and sterilization of transport sorting in the capital’s secretariat

Today, the Emergency Operations Committee for Combating Epidemics in the Capital Secretariat launched spraying and disinfection of a number of taxi buses in the preventive measures against the Corona virus.

During the inauguration, the head of the operations room of the secretariat, Abdul Wahab Sharaf Al-Din, praised the efforts of the transport office and its branches in the directorates and contractors in implementing the precautionary measures and providing spray tanks and sterilizers.

He stressed the need to adhere to the process of spraying and sterilizing buses and passengers continuously in order to preserve the safety of all, stressing that deterrent measures should be taken against violators and those not committed to precautionary measures, spraying and sterilization ..

For his part, Assistant Undersecretary Abdullah Al-Hajri stressed that the capital’s secretariat will not tolerate those who fail in implementing precautionary measures, whether in the transport office or sorting operators .. pointing out that the process of field descending to all sorting continues in order to prevent coronavirus.

While the Director General of the Transportation Office, Mohammed Al-Shahari, indicated that spraying and sterilization targeted five sorting groups that include 25 lanes and two compounds to sort the long lines from south and west of the Municipality to other governorates, pointing out that the sorting will be completed tomorrow.

The inauguration was attended by the General Director of Follow-up and Evaluation of the Secretariat, Abdel Halim Al Sukari, directors of the directorates of the peoples of Mahdi Arab and Moeen Abdul Malik Al-Radhi, Al-Safia Naji Al-Shiaani, and officials of the sorting and transport lines in a number of directorates.
