Meeting for the land transport authority

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs was held today, headed by Mr. Walid Abdullah Al-Wadie, Chairman of the Authority, Chairman of the Board of Directors

In the meeting, the minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved, and what had been accomplished from the agenda of the previous meeting chaired by the Minister of Transport, Major General Zakaria Al-Shami, in which he urged all efforts to implement the directives of the supreme political leadership regarding land transport, especially urban transport.

The meeting discussed the mechanism of applying the GPS system to land transport and preparing an integrated feasibility study for the partnership between the authority and the companies implementing this system.

The financial report of the authority for the first half of the current year 2020 was discussed, and the problems of the authority’s branch in Al-Bayda governorate were discussed.
