President Al-Mashat meets with the Speaker of Parliament

President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat, met the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Rahi and his deputy, Abd Al-Salam Hashal Zabia.

During the meeting, aspects related to developments in the national arena were discussed, in light of the continuing aggression and blockade, and its implications for the humanitarian situation in various fields.

The meeting touched upon the issues discussed by the House of Representatives, especially with regard to reviewing laws and regulations in force to keep pace with current developments.

The meeting reviewed the role of the legislative authority in supporting the efforts of the executive authority to deal with the repercussions of the aggression and siege on the Yemeni people.

President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of enhancing coordination between the executive and legislative authorities, in a way that serves the public interest, and what the stage requires of concerted efforts by all to overcome the challenges imposed by the aggression and siege
