Ministry of Transport discusses its development plan for the year 2021

 

An expanded meeting of the Ministry of Transport chaired by Minister Zakaria Al-Shami discussed the ministry’s plan for the current year and the mechanism for developing it in the financial and administrative aspects, information systems and technology.

The meeting, in the presence of the ministry’s undersecretaries for the air transport sector, Abdullah Al-Ansi, financial and administrative affairs, Adel Al-Madani, directors of general and employees of the ministry, reviewed the achievements of the past year and what has been implemented in light of the national vision of the first phase 2019-2020 of projects, activities and programs at the level of various transport sectors.

At the meeting, the Minister of Transport focused on development, creativity and innovation in the field of transport work to advance this vital economic and pivotal sector.

He emphasized that the ministry’s plan during the current year focused on training, qualification and the development of technical and professional capabilities in terms of the fact that the work of the ministry, its sectors, its bodies and its institutions is a professional technician in all aspects of the various transportation.

He referred to the development of electronic automation and linking it to the network in line with modern changes.

He said, “The issue of automation is an absolute necessity to accomplish tasks and tasks with ease, to keep pace with modern developments and to translate the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.”

He urged everyone to make more efforts to develop the work technically, professionally and administratively, in a way that contributes to the advancement of the transport sector
