A meeting at the headquarters of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation – Hodeidah Port, chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Captain / Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, and in the presence of Eng. Yahya Abbas Sharaf al-Din, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Professor / Abdullah Habib, Director General of Hodeidah Port Customs, General Directors of the Corporation and Director of Hodeidah Port Security, discussed on Monday Wednesday, 11/4/2020 AD, the activity of the maritime companies operating in the Yemeni Red Sea ports and the mechanism for coordinating the work between the corporation, the shipping companies and the sectors operating in the port of Hodeidah.
The meeting emphasized the importance of coordination between the corporation’s leadership and all sectors operating in the corporation’s ports, companies and shipping agencies when releasing the goods arriving at the corporation’s port docks in accordance with the laws in force.
The meeting dealt with working according to the correct procedures and finding real solutions in coordination between all parties according to the terms of reference specified for each party.
In the meeting, Captain Ishaq stressed the importance of partnership and coordination between companies, shipping agencies and sectors operating in the port and the corporation because of their great role in overcoming current challenges and ensuring the flow of goods and goods through the port of Hodeidah, the main artery to the various governorates of the Republic and alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni citizen .
