A meeting chaired by the Minister of Transport discusses ways to preserve the campus of Taiz Airport

A meeting, chaired by the Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, discussed the latest developments regarding the identification of fever and the campus of Taiz International Airport.

The meeting, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Justice Dr. Ismail Al-Wazir,  deputy of the Ministry of Transport for the Air Transport Sector Abdullah Al-Ansi, Director of the Airports Sector and Chairman of the Committee Amin Jamaan, reviewed a report of the Airports Sector Committee on defining the campus of Taiz International Airport and future plans for managing the airport.

The meeting touched on the difficulties facing Taiz International Airport, which are represented in random construction and continuous developments and heights in buildings next to the airport.

The meeting was briefed on the presentation of the director of the airports sector on the future plan of the airport, which was completed by Yemeni technical cadres, and the procedures that were taken regarding the reservation of land areas for the expansion of the airport, as well as the draft amendment to the decision of the airport campus.

The Minister of Transport stressed the keenness to redouble efforts and coordinate with the relevant authorities to maintain the airport’s heat and sanctuary in accordance with international standards and requirements.

He stressed the prevention of developments in the campus of Taiz International Airport and the arrest of violators and the work of procedures and measures that ensure that the development is not continued.
