A meeting with the Governor of Al-Hodeidah and the Chairman of the Land Transport Authority

A meeting in Hodeidah Governorate, headed by Governor Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, discussed the functioning of the branch of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority in the governorate.

The meeting, which included the Chairman of the Authority, Walid Al-Waadi, and the Deputy Governor, Abdul-Jabbar Ahmed Muhammad, reviewed the plans, programs and projects of the Authority in the governorate, and the regulation of the flow of transport of goods and foodstuffs from Hodeidah to the Capital Municipality and the rest of the governorates.

The meeting stressed the importance of making arrangements for the implementation of strategic projects in accordance with the directives of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council and the modern national vision, in a way that meets the aspirations of citizens and contributes to the development and modernization of the land transport sector.

In the meeting, the head of the authority, Al-Wadi’i, reviewed the treatments implemented by the authority’s branch in Hodeidah in cooperation with the relevant authorities to overcome the problems that were facing the transport sector for goods in the past years.

The meeting was attended by the director of the authority’s branch in the governorate, Muhammad Al-Suwaidi, and the Social Affairs Office, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sayegh, and the deputy director of the authority’s branch in the governorate, Noman Al-Darwani.
