Al-Durra reviews the activities of the Maritime Affairs Authority in the port of Hodeida

 

Minister of Transport, Abdel Wahab Al-Durra, briefed on the activities of the General Authority for Maritime Affairs in the port of Hodeida.

Al-Durra and his deputy, Mohammed Al-Hashemi, along with the CEO of the Foundation, Captain Mohammed Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, heard from the Director of the Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Sharaf Al-Din Al-Mushki, an explanation about the tasks that the authority performs to preserve the marine environment, the most prominent obstacles to work and the measures that can be taken to improve performance during the coming period.

Al-Durra indicated that this visit comes to review the level of performance and evaluate the activities in the ports of the Red Sea Corporation and the Authority, the progress of work in them, their plans and future projects, as well as the difficulties they face, and to study proposals for solutions to improve performance to the best level.

He stressed the ministry’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities for the success of the plans, programs and projects of the Corporation and the Authority, stressing to redouble efforts to continue the activity, maintain the level of existing projects and expand its activities and investments.

He was accompanied during the visit by the Foundation’s Executive Vice President, Zaid Ahmed Al-Washli, and the Director of the CEO’s Office, Nabil Omar Al-Mzjaji
