CAMI :- The conclusion of a workshop on the training curriculum for managing the safety system
The workshop on completing the continuous training curriculum for Safety System Management (SMS) was concluded at the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology.CAMI
The workshop, which was organized by the institute over a period of five years, with the participation of 22 specialists from the institute, the air navigation sector, the aviation safety sector and Yemen Airways, aimed to assess the curriculum, absorb the participants’ observations, and identify the target groups and the necessary mechanisms to start implementing the training.
In conclusion, the Director of the Institute of Civil Aviation, Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi, explained that the workshop came out with the adoption of the training curriculum for specialists in air navigation, aviation safety, airports and Yemeni airlines.
He pointed out that the workshop comes within the framework of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s plan for the 2023 training year, which is based on the methodology in training, noting the support and interest of the Minister of Transport and the President and Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation Authority in the training process.
Dr. Al-Sahmi indicated that the institute will follow an advanced training strategy during the current year, with the aim of keeping pace with developments in the field of civil aviation and meteorology.
