Conclusion of the eighth session on air law

 

the eighth training course on air law, organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology at the Institute of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, was concluded as part of the Authority’s training plan for the training year 2023.

The two-week course aimed to introduce 18 male and female participants from the Authority’s employees, sectors and airports to an introduction to air law and international agreements in the field of aviation, including the Chicago, Hague and Montreal Conventions and all international agreements in public international law as well as international agreements in the field of private international law such as Warsaw and its amendments and Montreal 1999. The relationship of international law to national law and standard rules and their applications. This course is considered one of the courses approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The closing ceremony was attended by a number of department directors at the institute, the training staff, and a number of general managers and employees.

During the ceremony, certificates and symbolic gifts were distributed to the participants, and the participants presented certificates of thanks and appreciation to the institute’s staff in general and to the institute’s dean, Dr. Naji Al-Sahmi, in particular, as well as to the trainer, Mr. Hammoud Al-Shafiri, and the assistant trainer, Abdel-Wahab Al-Sayrafi.
