Deputy Minister of Transport, discussing the plans and programs of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and its development projects

 

A meeting held at the headquarters of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation in the port of Hodeida, Wednesday 4/2/1444 AH, headed by Deputy Minister of Transport Mohammed Al-Hashemi, discussed the corporation’s performance, plans and programs for the current year 1444 AH and its future activities.

The meeting, in the presence of the CEO of the Corporation, Captain Mohammed Abu Bakr Ishaq and his deputy, Zaid Ahmed Al-Washli, touched on the aspects related to the follow-up and evaluation of the Corporation’s activity in the field of providing services and rehabilitating infrastructure projects in the ports of Hodeida and Salif, and the proposed solutions and treatments to overcome the difficulties facing the workflow.

At the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Transport stressed the importance of cooperation and concerted efforts of all and working in a team spirit to ensure integration of efforts and advancement and upgrading of work in accordance with sound and legal procedures.

Al-Hashemi stressed the need to conduct a realistic evaluation of programs and projects to avoid the negatives and enhance the positives to achieve the desired success.

He pointed to the importance of the Corporation’s role in economic development.. He praised the important role played by the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens.

In turn, the CEO of the Corporation reviewed the general situation of the Corporation and the overall services provided through the ports of Hodeida and Saleef during the last period.

Captain Isaac valued the ministry’s leadership’s support for the institution, which helps it advance its technical and professional work, improve its marine navigation services, and provide citizens’ needs.

The meeting was attended by the Director-General of the Office of the CEO of the Corporation, Nabil Omar Al-Mazjajy, and the Director-General of Projects and Engineering Supervision, Sami Maqboli, and a number of general managers of the concerned departments
