Developing plans and programs in the Red Sea Ports Corporation

A meeting in Sana’a today, headed by the Minister of Transport, Abdulwahab Al-Durra, discussed the development and modernization plans of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation for the current year.

The meeting, in the presence of the Chairman of the Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, reviewed the projects implemented within the national vision in the second phase, especially with regard to the development of the Hodeidah port and its necessary needs.

In the meeting, the Minister of Transport praised the role of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and its efforts in providing services to the Yemeni people through the strategic port of Hodeidah, stressing that the port provides its services in a professional and impartial manner.

In turn, the Chairman of the Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq reviewed the challenges and difficulties facing the work and tasks of the Corporation.

He stressed that the Hodeidah port is working with all its energy with high efficiency, with technical and professional cadres and expertise in the field of maritime navigation, despite the systematic destruction of its equipment and devices that are important to the port’s work.
