Discuss legal procedures for organizing and improving road transport services

Today’s meeting in Sana’a, which included Minister of Transport Zakaria Al-Shami and Minister of Legal Affairs Dr. Ismail Al-Muhaqri, discussed the legal procedures related to the mechanism for organizing and improving transportation services in the capital’s secretariat.

The meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector, Adel Al-Madani and the Assistant Undersecretary for the Land Transport Sector, Abdulmalik Sharaf Al-Din, reviewed the legal legislations for the road transport sector and the mechanism to develop them during the next stage, which would contribute to the promotion and development of road transport services.

At the meeting, the Minister of Transport stressed the importance of working in accordance with the laws to develop the various land transport sectors.

He pointed out that the General Authority for Land Transport Regulation is working hard to handle and organize transportation services in the capital’s secretariat and between and the governorates.

In turn, the Minister of Legal Affairs praised the positive steps taken by the Ministry of Transport in the legislative aspects and their application in its technical and administrative work … pointing out that legislation and laws existed to serve the community and develop performance in all aspects.
