Discuss the performance of the Land Transport Authority

 

meeting in Sana’a, which included members of the Shura Council, Yahya Al-Mahdi, Yahya Jahaf, and Chairman of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Wadaei, reviewed the authority’s performance during the past period and the level of implementation of projects included in the national vision.

In the meeting, Al-Wadaei reviewed the Authority’s achievements in the field of automation, information systems, planning and projects, and in the forefront is the heavy transport truck project in Hodeida.

He pointed to the cooperation agreements that have been accomplished with a number of bodies, as well as the implementation of presidential directives regarding merging transport offices with the authority and preventing duplication of collection.

The Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority affirmed that the authority is ready to cooperate with all sectors of the state to contribute to the development of land transport.

The members of the Shura Council praised the successes achieved by the Commission, and confirmed the Shura Council’s readiness to support the Commission for the success of its activities.

The meeting was attended by Director of Financial Affairs at the Authority Khaled Al-Arasi and Director of Ports and Branches Ahmed Abdul Karim.
