Discussing cooperation between the Land Transport Authority and the Ministry of Guidance to host the pilgrims

 

A meeting in Sana’a, which included the Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority Walid Al-Wadai’i, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Guidance for the Hajj and Umrah Sector Abdul Rahman Al-Naimi, discussed cooperation between the Ministry and the Authority in grouping Yemeni pilgrims for the current Hijri year.

The meeting reviewed the procedures for grouping pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims and the role of Hajj and Umrah companies and agencies in facilitating the difficulties facing the movement of Yemeni pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims.

At the meeting, Al-Wadai indicated that the Land Transport Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs, will carry out a field visit to various Hajj and Umrah companies and agencies to supervise the process of grouping pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims and to ensure the safety of procedures.

He urged companies and agencies to abide by the instructions and conditions that must be provided in terms of security and safety procedures to ensure better services for Yemeni pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims.

Al-Wadai’i stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between the authority and the ministry for the success of the grouping process for Yemeni pilgrims.. “There will be follow-up to the grouping process and the departure of pilgrims and pilgrims until their arrival in the Holy Land and the performance of the Hajj and Umrah rituals and their return.”

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Land Transport Authority branch in the Municipality, Muhammad Al-Shahari, and the directors of the Information Center at the Ministry of Guidance, Ali Jardan, Systems and Accounts, Naji Shaiban
