Discussing the coordination mechanism between the authority and the Ministry of Interior

meeting, which included the Assistant Deputy for the Ministry of Interior’s Operations, Brigadier Abdul Karim Al-Mikhlafi, and the Head of the Commission, Mr. Walid Al-Wadie, discussed ways of joint cooperation between the Commission and the Ministry of Interior.

 

In the meeting attended by the Director General of Traffic, Colonel Mujib Al-Rahman Al-Omari and Director of Watan Radio, Lieutenant Colonel Abdulrahman Al-Munawar

, many common issues in the field of transport were discussed, foremost of which was the implementation of the directives of His Excellency the President of the Supreme Political Council on preventing duplication in the collection of transport fees and random collection, as well as making plans to organize sorting and transportation. Urban in the capital and the capitals of the governorates and the elimination of previous randomness in terms of sorting urban transport and organizing its own traffic lines in proportion to and in harmony with the general traffic to reduce traffic congestion and congestion.

The meeting touched on the joint coordination and cooperation mechanism between the authority and the General Administration of Traffic in the field of automation and networking.

 

Alwadaei explained the importance of networking with all relevant government agencies to save time and effort.

 

The activation of the technical inspection centers for the various means of land transport was also discussed, especially since most of the accidents resulted from the lack of interest in the technical and periodic inspection of the means of transport.
