Discussing the implementation of the project of preparing digital maps for land transport services in the Capital Municipality

 

the head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Waadi, discussed with the consultant of the Remote Sensing Center, Eng. Ghamdan Al-Waqi, the aspects related to the implementation of the project to prepare digital maps for land transport services in the Capital Municipality.

The meeting reviewed the arrangements required to start preparing forms for assessing positions, sorting and itineraries in the various directorates of the secretariat to redevelop them and provide better services to the citizen according to a modern mechanism that meets the aspirations of the authority.

 

The head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs indicated that the implementation of the digital map project comes within the framework of the authority’s development plans for 2022 and its projects within the national vision aimed at promoting, developing and regulating the areas of transport.

 

He explained that the implementation of the project coincides with the launch of the authority in early April, the digital map project and the start of training the authority’s staff to prepare evaluation forms in preparation for the field trip of the work team early next week to the various sorting and itineraries of the capital’s secretariat.
